✍Written by Nero Ho ('29), Eason Wang ('29), Sophrine Ko ('31)

Ms. Tina Ngo is a first-year computer science and robotics teacher at AST, bringing over three years of experience from other international schools in Taiwan. Her initial move to Taiwan was for computer science studies at National Tsing-hua and National Taiwan University. During her time at Tsing-hua, she became fluent in Mandarin and met her husband, with whom she now has two children.

Ms. Ngo's passion for teaching computer science is rooted in a lifelong fascination with problem-solving and the creative power of coding. She finds great joy in witnessing student success and growth. This dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she leads AST's strong VEX robotics program, a significant factor in her decision to join the school. Her interest in robotics began as a judge, recognizing its value in interdisciplinary learning and skill development. She encourages all interested students to participate.

As a new member of the AST community, Ms. Ngo appreciates the welcoming atmosphere and has noticed opportunities to further inspire student motivation, which she hopes to nurture through STEAM and project-based learning. She hopes to inspire her students to reach their full potential. Outside of school, she enjoys the natural campus environment and outdoor activities. We thank Ms.Tina and eagerly anticipate the VEX team's continued achievements.
