Mr. Hayes is from Vancouver BC Canada and he moved to Taiwan for a new challenge in his life. He’s really proud to be a teacher and loves his job. The most important things to him are his family, friends and his fiancé. (He just proposed!) He likes lifting weights, basketball and he enjoys studying Mandarin. Yes! Mr. Hayes lived in China for a few years. He left China and didn’t want to lose his ability to talk in mandarin. He has a teacher that teaches him mandarin. Mr. Hayes got his inspiration to be a teacher from his younger brother, Jackson. His little brother and him have a big age gap, 13 years. This is what inspired him to become a teacher. His teaching method is student centered, positive, and focused on students well-being and self-esteem. Mr. Hayes is a friendly teacher, a good listener, so he is very well liked by students.
